Easy and Healthy No-Fried French Fries Recipe

French fries are something you want to eat even if you are on a diet. However, French fries at restaurants and fast food restaurants are fried with plenty of oil to make them crispy and therefore high in calories.

This time, we will introduce a recipe for healthy French fries made without frying using a microwave and a frying pan. Even with a small amount of oil, they turn out crispy and tasty.

Ingredients (2 servings)

2 potatoes (300g)
1/2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tbsp olive oil
A pinch of salt

How to cook

  1. Cut potatoes into sticks and soak in water for a long time to remove starch. Drain off the water. *They will be crispy.
  2. Cover with cling wrap and microwave at 600W for 2 min. Wipe off any moisture. *1200W for 1min.
  3. Place potatoes and flour in a plastic bag and sprinkle with flour.
  4. Heat olive oil in a frying pan, add potatoes and cook over low heat, rolling, until lightly browned.
  5. Grill over medium heat until the surface is crispy, sprinkle with salt, turn off the heat, and blend all over.
