Easy and healthy Pork Ginger Grilled Recipe

Shoga-yaki is a Japanese dish of grilled meat marinated in a sauce based on soy sauce with ginger juice, sugar, and other ingredients. This recipe is based on pork, and simply saying shoga-yaki means “pork ginger grilled.”

Here is a healthy recipe for pork ginger grilled using lean meat.

Ingredients (for 2 servings)

300g pork (lean loin)
1 tbsp flour
150g cabbage
1 tsp vegetable oil

1.5 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp mirin (sweet cooking sake)
1 tbsp cooking sake
1 tbsp grated ginger

How to cook

  1. Cut cabbage into strips. Dust pork with flour.
  2. Mix seasonings (A) together.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan and brown pork over medium heat. When browned, flip over.
  4. Add (A) and cook over medium heat until shiny.
  5. Arrange cabbage and ④ on a plate.
